Taiwan's bio-industry has been developed for more than 30 years and has grown to maturity gradually. “The successors of Taiwan's bio-industry” forum, held by Department of Economic Development Taipei City Government on July 19, invited senior entrepreneurs and young generation to present their viewpoints and discuss the future of Taiwan's bio-industry.

Sealing the gap of technology transfer

Chairman Shen said, enterprises regard foundations as their own lab and they are reluctant to invest in R&D personnel training, so that technology transfer become a gap between industry and academia and make domestic doctors hard to find jobs.

Establishment of complete bio-industrial chain

President Huang suggested that accessories bio-industry is not well-developed and it should be strength.
